The Serenity Prayer is my choice of poems when I need a quick source of inner strength. Do you know anyone who relies on the words of wisdom in the Serenity Prayer to help them get through difficult moments? ~

Calligraphy Design of Serenity Prayer ~

The way I’ve written it in calligraphy brings out it’s sub-meanings as well. Most people focus on “Serenity, Courage and Wisdom”. But when I wrote it out to decide on how best to do the layout, I also found  “Accept, Change and Know” as another theme.

Designing a calligraphy poem can be a complex puzzle. The shorter the text, the more opportunity a calligrapher has to use lettering, spacing, fonts, colors and placement to bring out not just the beauty, but the meaning.

Personalizing Your Serenity Prayer

I love combining calligraphy with artwork. This rendition has beautiful red rose petals. However, if you have a different background that you prefer, I can do a custom calligraphic art piece for you.  The price is considerably lower, because the poem is already written in calligraphy and ready to be superimposed upon the artwork of your choice.

I’ve also done two versions, one with “God” and one without. Although this is a very religious country, there are those who prefer the version without using the name of God. So, it’s your choice!

I can also personalize the calligraphy with adding your names, dates and other text.

This can be a wonderful Happy Birthday calligraphy gift for someone you care about who is going through hard times. Or it can be just what you need to help you have the “serenity to accept…” Sometimes, that’s all you need!

Serenity Prayer calligraphy print -gallery wrap

It’s  available as a “gallery wrap” so you see the roses along all the sides. It’s just one of the great contemporary ways to frame artwork, so they are ready to hang, right out of the box! Here’s what it looks like (above).

I have The Serenity Prayer right above my desk, and read it a lot these days! It’s an affirmation that really helps.
